Pool Status Update

The board has received the following update from Cardinal Management Group regarding the pool closure. If you have any questions, please contact Community Manager Ashley Gonzalez at a.gonzalez@cardinalmanagementgroup.com. We will continue to update the community as we receive additional information.

Regrettably, as I’m sure you are aware, the pool was closed over the weekend with no notice.

Unfortunately, Verizon was at the community late last week to make repairs to the phone lines at the pool house. In the midst of their working, they made a colossal mistake and crashed the Internet and phone lines, leaving the pool with no working communication. Not having a working phone line at the pool is a violation with the county, so we had no choice but to close the pool.

The REC Committee Chair has been working tirelessly all weekend with Verizon to get the issue resolved. Verizon is scheduled to be onsite today to make the necessary repairs. Once a minimum of one phone line is back up and running, the pool will reopen as scheduled. The REC Committee is also working with the Health Department on an alternate plan should Verizon not be able to repair the lines today.

I do apologize that advance notice was not given, and that the issue was not communicated over the weekend. Additionally, information on the reopening of the pool will be communicated.
