Regular Covenants Inspections Start In May 2023

Starting in May, Cardinal Management Group will begin conducting regular monthly covenants inspections in our community. Now is a good time to begin taking a look around the outside of your home for needed maintenance, and to bring any potential violations into compliance to avoid being issued a violation letter. Please be aware that any exterior home modification projects for paint, lighting, shutters, doors, etc., require prior approval from the Architectural Review Committee (ARC). You can contact the ARC at wdlynarc@gmail.com and access the exterior home project application here on our website

The focus of the regular monthly inspections will be the exterior appearance of your home. This means Cardinal Management Group will be focusing on, but not limited to, the following:

Gutter and/or Downspouts

Shutters

Siding

Storm or Screen Doors

Fence Conditions

Trash Cans In Public View

Holiday Decorations

Grass Height

Lawn Maintenance

Debris and/or Litter

Shrub and/or Tree Pruning

Weed Control

Dead/Dying Plant Material

Cardinal Management Group believes our residents are good neighbors and would not knowingly violate the covenants. If after an inspection you feel you have received a violation letter in error, or don’t understand the violation for which you have received a letter, please contact Cardinal Management Group for further information. Feel free to reach out to Community Manager Ashley Gonzalez at a.gonzalez@cardinalmanagementgroup.com or Management Assistant Lauren Whitney at l.whitney@cardinalmanagementgroup.com and (703) 565-5024 for clarification.

Cardinal Management Group’s goal is to work with you to remedy any violations. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you are unclear about the letter or need more information about why you have received a violation. Again, please take a few moments over the coming days to perform a quick assessment of your property and bring any potential violations into compliance to avoid being issued a covenants violation letter.
