With a potential snowstorm on the way, the board would like to remind everyone of our community’s winter weather policies. Please be aware that Shenandoah Landscape Services, our snow management contractor, will plow the community in the event of snowfall greater than 2 inches.
As outlined in the Community Handbook (pg. 11), residents are asked to take responsibility for shoveling out their own cars and walkways, as well as the sidewalks bordering their homes, as these services will not be provided. It is required that the sidewalks bordering your property be cleared. The board also asks that you avoid using salt or ice melt, as they can damage the sidewalks. Please use sand or cat litter instead.
See our Snow & Ice Policies guide for additional information. For general tips and safety information, you can also check out Fairfax County’s Guide to Snow. Feel free to contact the board at woodlynnedir@gmail.com with any questions pertaining to our community. Thanks for your cooperation, and stay safe!
